Dr. Edrica D. Richardson (Dr. E) was born in Tampa, Florida and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in multiple states in the U.S. and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor; who has been working with a culturally diverse population of age, ethnicity and marital status for over a decade.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and Women’s Study Certificate from Florida Atlantic University, FL; her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University. During her training she worked with children, adolescents, college students, and young to geriatric adults. These individuals had diverse issues such as learning, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse, and those who suffered from traumatic brain injuries.

Eager to gain a deeper understanding of systemic approaches she completed her PhD. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Her training has expanded with a passion to work with couples, and families with varying life transitions and issues.

From a collaborative lens, she invites her clients into a strong therapeutic alliance through meaningful conversations that are rich with empathy, understanding, curiosity, coaching, and personal empowerment.
With a passion for self-growth and continuous discovery, she offers, clients a space to process, and heal from past trauma, make their own meaning, while providing opportunities for growth.
